No Fortify Attribute on Spellcraftingtable?
So I got the Fortify Skill to choose a specific skill, but I don't have the Attribute thing.
And looking on YouTube seems like everyone has it...

Is this bugged for me?

Fortify attribute is a different spell effect than fortify skill.

Also attributes are mostly useless so fortifying them isn't gonna help with much. You're better off fortifying skills until they reach 100 and then after that they don't do anything.

After reaching 100 in attributes skills only some benefits are gained, you will not gain extra meele damage for example when fortifying strenght, but you will gain carry capacity.

Well Fortifying Strength is useful for carrying more.

Also I know that it's a different spell, that's why I'm wondering why I don't have it.

That's why I want it.
Luck will decrease Spellcrafting cost.

So yeah I'm just wondering why I don't have it.

If you want a fortify attribute spell for spell making you must first own and be able to cast a spell that fortifies an attribute, doesn't matter which one. A spell with fortify luck, if you can ast it, allows you to create custom spells with any attribute.

I've read you have to cast a spell to add it to the custom spell list.
Might also only add that one attribute

Is it? Isn't feather more potent?

Yes, but in the original oblivion i often ran into a bug where feather was not working properly.

So in og oblivion all feather did was reduce the weight of the items in your inventory. It displayed as increasing your weight capacity but its not true. Also sped up your character by reducing the weight of your armor as well. Strength did increase capactiy but was more expensive of a spell to cast.

Example, you currently have 80 weight 150 max, you want to loot a dungeon, you cast feather 100. Your weight displays as 250, but in truth you're at 0/150. You pick up 170 pounds of junk which would bring you to 250, but in reality you're now 170/150 and over encumbered.

Feather is cheaper and can stack with multiple spells, but only reduces you weight currently in your inventory, not what you will be picking up.
