I think I'm going back to the original

After having some time with the Remaster I think I'm just going to reinstall the original and use mods to get the game the way I like instead.
Tired of the remasters terrible performance and little things which annoy me like the drab color grading and weird stuff like female armor not fitting your body properly anymore, also the character creator was not nearly as good as I hoped I was expecting a huge improvement but it was marginal at best, rather just install cc enhancement mods which are better than what it given to us here, so yeah not sure if I can still get a refund but for PC players there's really no reason to play this over the original unless you really hate modding.

i agree, the original looks better. i still like this too, its just that now it looks very generic, and lost that special look it had in the original. now it looks like every other game.

Why not just wait for skyblivion to see how that turns out

When about 5 years ago I tried to make Skyrim look like this it took me atleast 10 hours or so to even get close. When I finaly did it including gameplay overhaul etc. (probably 15hours by then) I was so annoyed I didn't even play it.

I think for people like me who don't mod on a regular basis and don't know what mods fit together etc. this is pretty cool.

Obviously it's not like modded to your own perfection but especially with gamepass it's a no brainer I think.

Really? Took me like 6 hours to get what I wanted then a few hours testing and adding more.

They also didn't fix the bugs that unofficial oblivion patches fixed decades ago.

Yeah realy. I was looking for a very special visual and gameplay style.

So I tested a lot with Reshade presets and tweaking Reshade myself and it also took me forever to get all the city mods to work properly. I also wanted to play as Vampire and the Vampire mods were very clunky when combined with other mods.
