The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Is this actual Bethesda Remake or Modding Community?
Did Bethesda actually put time into this or did the Skyblivion modders community do it and they paid them? Because honestly, I love this either way, but was hoping to see Elder Scrolls 6 already. Also price is a bit high no?

it's not a remake and it has nothing to do with skyblivion or its modders, it's a remaster developed by virtous since 2021

Looks like they added new stuff that's why i said remake, but also Seems like you've played it, what do you think so far?
Neither.

Bethesda paid virtuos, a company that exclusively does remasters and they used AI to basically do the work and resold the game at new prices.

I only see one game by them and that's oblivion, what others have they remastered?

factually false

There's zero indication it was being developed since 2021. Those leaked documents just showed things Bethesda had planned, and some of the projects on that list were cancelled and had no work done to them in that time.

There's no way this remaster had any more than a year worked on it by a skeleton crew in their spare time, most of the work was done by AI.

Yeah, that's not true.

there's plenty indication, what has no indication is your claim that they've used ai for everything

It was outsourced and runs like doodoo poopoo, missing a few features related to physics, plays worse for a lot of people but looks good unironically crashes less than OG.

Everything he said was wrong, Virtuos is just a developer who have a history of working on some pretty big games.

Dark souls remastered, Outer worlds spacers choice edition, horizon VR, XCOM 2 switch version, and tons others. They basically are contracted by game publishers to port their games to console.

Literally the game itself tells you it was AI.

Beyond the misspelled signs from the AI upscaling they never bothered fixing (just like GTA definitive edition) the game settings itself has options for how the AI upscaling works (of which the game explicitly calls AI upscaling lol).

It's the same technology that GTA definitive edition remasters did for those games, they used AI to upscale and to help make new models.

Also some of the new NPC voices are AI generated, using voices from Skyrim as the basis for the generation.

If you think anything in this game was created by AI, then report it.

If it has anything AI generated and isn't declared on the store page they're breaking Steam's ToS.
