Performance issues.
Hello,
Here are my specs:

RX 6600

Ryzen 5 5600X

32 GB 3200 MHz DDR4

I play at 1080p with medium settings, and I'm getting 60 FPS.

However, over time, the FPS drops, and it can go down to 10 FPS. I have to restart the game to get back to 60 FPS at the same location.

I have also noticed that the game gradually uses more than 10 GB of RAM, it can go up to 16 /17...

I tried reinstalling Windows and everything else, but the problem remains. All drivers are up to date.

Also, I'm playing through Game Pass, not on Steam.

Also, there is no bottleneck because the graphics card is always used at nearly 100%, and the CPU around 40–50%.

I have similar specs, using AMD processor and video card. My problem is that once I got out of the sewers, the game consistently crashes, and I have no idea why.

Fanboys over here will tell you it runs fine........ it's your system....... but after playing Robocop Rogue City I know it's the crap UE5. Try to look up on here and youtube videos about texture streaming optimization etc. A guy called BenchmarKing has some interesting videos about it. You will have to be ready to change some files though. And turn off everything with Lumen that can be turned off.........

I have a similar setup with my own set of issues. Something on Reddit pointed me to the AMD site where they have an update specifically to fix bugs with the game (it didn't show up on Adrenaline for me). Downloaded it and still have crazy lighting glitches. Here's the update though just in case y'all didn't see it: https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-25-4-1.html

I have somewhat similar specs, 6650xt and a 5700X3D and I have the same exact issue

Playing on the Steam version

Guys, I just found out that putting the game in Fullscreen mode instead of borderless help a lot ! Atleast for me.
Fuya Apr 28 @ 2:26am
Nevermind... It's so random, I drop from 60 to 30.. and then If I limit the fps to 60 it get back to 60 ???? And then I enter a building and go outside again, fps drop ?? Sometime it's just random, in the wilderness fps drop for no reason and modifying something like fps limit, vsync or Fullscreen or borderless put back fps to 60 wtf is going on

If you have AMD Anti-lag enabled in your drivers for Oblivion, Disable it. You can find the game itself under the gaming tab, and disable it there.
I don't recommend disabling it globally because there are many games that benefit from it, but Oblivion isn't one of them.

Even on my 7900 XT, it caused serious microstutters at any framerate, whether locked at 30, 60 or 100.

It's not enabled, there is one thing I haven't tried, I completely forgot about it, it's amd smart access memory, I will try to disable it
You can try but SAM just lets the CPU access more than 256mb chunks of the GPU's VRAM at a time. It is generally a good idea to keep it enabled.

yeah, but in some game like cod for exemple, it cause lag, so, i'll try
Same tbh, and i have tried absolutely everything..

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 3.80ghz
32.0 GB
RTX 3070
Ran it on 1080p, medium settings/frame gen and i CAN get a smooth 90 fps, but as soon as i get into a new zone. It will stutter and drop all the way down to 31fps and will not change. No bottlenecks, and GPU has plenty of go and CPU only at 50%. Absolutely horrible optimisation and is the only game that i now currently own that i can not run.

All i can do is wait out for an actual patch as i don't want it to sour my experience.
Unreal Engine 5 can eat an absolute fat one.

Omfg, it seem to be working, I disabled resize bar in bios , now it look like I get 60 fps without drops, I can even put the game on high setting what the hell
