arena is not ready bug ?

i try to fight in the arena but Owyn says than the arena fights are only between 9am and 9pm , i tried to sleep many days and try every day between 9am and 9pm but he keeps saying than the arena is not ready , anyone knows if its a bug ?

I did the one to find his father, if that what you were referring to

Try talking to him without the arena armour on then put it back on and talk to him again. It should break the loop.

I tried doing this and his dialogue did not change - I am also having this bug. No matter how long I wait where I go or how I rest he always says the arena is not ready until 9am-9pm even when it is in that time range when I am talking to the a hole.

Got the same issue, im 20 hours in and dont want to start a new character just because of this.... sadly didnt find a mod to fix this

And yes, I tried talking with armor on, and without armor on - both didn't work.....

Same issue for me. I think it is related to using bound armor while having the railment equipped. I've been looking everywhere for a quick fix, but nothing so far has worked for me. Would love to know if anyone finds something.

You're all using the fighting door from the basement and not the betting door, right?

tried this in its exact order and many other variations of bound armor, waiting and equipping and still nothing, nearly level 30 so pretty much have accepted i will be needing to make a new character just for arena achievs... pretty whack :/

I've had a weird variant of the raiment/bound equipment bug. After fast traveling to waterfront home>equipping raiment>conjuring bound gauntlets and dagger>swapping to regular armor>sleep for 3+ days, I talked to owyn while in regular armor, hoping to change up his complaint from time to gear. Only now he thinks my Elven armor is arena gear. Or nudity. That also works. Anything BUT heavy/light raiment.
