Let me get this straight
I bought the original Oblivion for around 20 bucks back in the day, today you put a lot less work into recreating it only changing some things but for the most part leaving it as was, and now you expect ppl to pay more than double for less work of and old game?

If you don't have $50 to spend on a game, you more than likely don't have a good enough computer to run it.
Bye now!

and? the game already existed, all they did was an upgrade-they failed to make Starfield the new baby gem, so they want to upgrade an old SUCCESSFUL game to make up for it and expect players to pay way more for it
Worth every penny, it's really good.

There are literally millions of things in the world that I dont feel are worth the asking price. I simply dont buy them. And the one thing I DONT do is constantly whine about the price.

If they wanted to do that they wouldn't have included Virtuous in any capacity.
Are you made because you're broke or..?

When I bought Oblivion at release, I think it was roughly the same amount of money (considering inflation etc) as the remaster costs today.
I think its a great remaster and worth every penny, now please Bethesda do the same with Morrowind.

oblivion on release was 50 usd, adjusting for inflation that's 80 usd today
the laziest clown farmer ever lmao
Personally, I wouldn't mind it that much if they had at least fixed all of the old bugs from the original game. But no, seems like nearly all of it has been retained. Just like how skyrim se still contained nearly all of the bugs from the original. I think that's the minimum they should have done to justify the price.

It's not like they were making a new game from scratch, the overwhelming majority of the foundation (basically the game itself) had already been done. So it wouldn't have taken much time to go through the list of bugs that the community submitted to them over the years.

It released for the same exact price as it did in 2006! $49.99
Calculate inflation that $49.99 back in 2006 is worth $79.30.
Because the remaster includes all DLC, it's only fair to calculate that as well. Oblivion w/ all DLC was $69.99 - That's a whopping $109 today.
This is an amazing value for $49.99

Original Oblivion was not 20 bucks. It was £49.99 when it first came out and it dominated the shelves in gaming stores. I think the dlc was £13 each?

Considering the rise in cost of living I'd say this remaster is ok value.

Well really.... The original game released in 2006 for $59.99. Adjusted for inflation, it would be about $96.00. So the price today is actually a huge discount from the original.

Apparently some have been living under a rock for 20 years totally oblivious to the changes around them.
