Character Model (High Elf) too big.
If you have the same problem as me - playing an high elf and suddenly not being able to get through narrow doors, or cave entrances - you can open the console with "#" and then type Ghost and press enter, you can move through objects. Dont jump, and get to the next door that loads the next area. Go trough. I dont know if the area load overrites the Ghost command in the console. To get it off for sure, save after the area load and restart the game.

I see your point. but the game is designed that if you CROUCH you can enter it.
Using console, disable achievements.
Crouching DOES NOT HELP! I am currently playing as an Altmer and the avatar is too tall to even access the lower levels of the Cheydinhal Mage's Guild regardless of if I crouch or not, the same with the upper floor in Northern Goods and Trade in Chorrol. It definitely LOOKS like I should be able to get through the doorway/stairway when crouching but nope, the hitbox doesn't seem to change so I'm literally locked out of continuing the Cheydinhal recommendation since I need to go down to the basement unless I use console commands. Did anyone actually test this game?!?!?!
Why play a magicka addled, frail-boned super racist, who denies Talos anyway?
The console command TCL also works by toggling collision. But just to reiterate I must use a console command to get through one of the basic starting quests. Patch this immediately.

Quitting the game completely and restarting solved the issue in Cheydinhal mage's guild for me. Bethesda is seemigly aware of the issue since this "solution" was suggested on their official site and it will be addressed in a "future patch". So maybe time for that patch....

Why post pointless drivel like this anyway?

I dont have a problem at all with that = /
Can you maybe name a specific location so I can test it with my High elf as well?
Can't you just use https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Console_Command_Tutorial#Player.SetScale_.23 in order to permanently resize your character making it a bit less tall? I didn't play an Altmer, but a Nord fits everywhere.
