I'm getting crazy studdering loads now to the point of being frozen in loadings.
As the Post Title suggest.

I was playing fine in these passed 3 days, even with the slight random studdering.
(All on Medium setting)

And now all the sudden, I can't even load into the overworld before it freazing up the whole loading screen.

I suspect there's a major Memory leaks in the game.

Here's the a good video explaining the main issue with the game.

Guy has an almost identical PC to mine.

Except I have DDR5 6000 MT/s and the game installed on a SATA SSD.

I think he is right about shader loading causing some performance hitches.

Realistically, I think they need to focus on CPU optimisations in game updates.

The earlier versions of UE5 had some issues with shaders and performance.

Apparently the dev team used Unreal Engine 5.3 to make Oblivion, and there were some large improvements to CPU performance with UE 5.4:

I think it's version 5.3, I have the Game Pass version so can't check the engine version. This error message indicates the engine version is 5.3.2.0:

For now, I think playing with frame generation is going to help cover up some of these sudden hitches.

i just meet recommended specs and it runs great, it's a you problem for sure

Do you use any reshade preset by any chance? I didnt have any stutters, but then I tried that Ayleid Reshade and had to uninstall cause the stuttering was crazy.

I definitely feel something has changed. My game was fine on release, then yesterday I was getting stuttering and lag every time I move or cast a spell. It was strange.

I'm not sure if anything changed recently, but I used to play on Medium, 60 FPS+ constantly with no issue for over 15 hours of the game. Now I can't play on Low without having freezing, stuttering or lag issues after 10 minutes of playing.

the same, in the last few days I played fine,then from last night it keeps becoming no responding after I start the game in about 1 minute no matter I stay in the main menu or in game

I believe there's some Memory Leaks in the game code. And or prehaps the area you're in are to resource heavy for the loading. (That's what I presume i'm also having.)

:steamthumbsdown: @360p??? There's no way you're running it with no upscaling or frame gen with a stable 60 fps. I seen so many videos on real powerful graphics cards that had stutters. There's nothing stable with Oblivion now or the old one, nice story though.

60fps AND 1440p? OMG!

Locked to 60 FPS ofc, no point in going above. AND all ultra.
