Otherwise I understand this is a bait post, but if Oblivion Remastered is a game for old people, then they should make more games for old people :)
Also gold is super easy to come by.
"Lockpicking is ???" you push the tumbler and hit confirm when it's slotted in place.
"I only see Imps and goblins" the game distributes enemies based on player level + what type of dungeon you explore. So if you explore an Ayleid ruin at level 3, it'll be skeletons, and Liches at 20+.
"The whole town goes crazy if i kill someone" so like real life?
"The speech minigame" it's easy, it's always been easy. Two options lead to a smile/good outcome, two lead to angry expression/bad outcome. The objective is to confirm the angry choices when their circles are smallest, and get as many of the big circles for the happy choices.
"Gold is hard to come by" you can get 12k gold in the imperial city alone just from questing in the early game, non-issue.
"Nice if weapons and armor didnt randomly break" they dont though, you're getting hit and not blocking. Use a repair hammer, and your shield.
Alchemy and Mercantile solve your gold problem even when they are your minor skills.
Too much like real life.
Weapons go blunt, duh,
armor needs repair -there’s a reason that there was blacksmiths.
The entire town goes crazy when you hit or kill someone - do you live in the real world or your own? There’s police outside your door. There’s guards policing streets.
You sound soo immature, why did you buy it. You clearly weren’t born when it came out as your parents would have played it - you know ‘old people’. Such a lame pathetic excuse used by Gen alphabet. If they don’t like something: out come the condescending remarks -
Plus for gods sake do some reading before putting your foot in it.
There’s no difference in any TES titles, they all do the same - kill someone in Skyrim and watch the guards kill your arse.
Seriously, what kid of response do you expect?
Are players today really that stupid?
Oblivion was already a totally dumbed-down RPG in 2006.
The murder thing is an attempt to recreate how a relatively small community would respond to a known homicide you committed. No game gets this perfect, but if your going for immersion at all some response is better than no response. Personally I would hesitate to live anywhere such an occurrence would result in "yawn"
Armor breaking/wear/degradation has been a love/hate facet of games for a long time..new and old. It's love / hate because in any title that uses a variant of it, it's a compromise between game-play/time/realism. And like all compromises there is always gonna be a bit of square peg round hole feeling to it. How much or little the result annoys/pleases you depends on how far away/close you are to the designed compromise within the spectrum.
the rest, outside employing exploits, is mostly a factor of time.
