Races still look as Hideous as ever!

I'll beat the remaster eventually, but for now, I like looking at a much prettier game right now (Claire Obscure Expedition 33).

One of the main reasons for me not wanting to actually beat/play this yet, is because I really wanted to make a Dark Elf, but my god, the races facial features (at least some of them) in this game are just terrible. It was excusable 20 years ago, when that was the limitation of the consoles, but seriously, you couldn't have at least tried to make better looking races/features?

Not to mention, there is almost next to no hair customization options, which they easily could have worked on, I'm tired of seeing elves with the biggest widows peak hairline known to mankind.

Suppose I'll just have to wait for more mods. Maybe a few years down the road the mods will change this. Like even by default in Skyrim, the races look far superior, and they've managed to re-release that game like 10 times without changing much, and the character customization is still 10x better.

Argonians and Khajit straight up got an overhaul. They clearly put work into those two races.

I agree. It has its charms. Not every game needs to look like Barbie World.

There are videos out there detailing the settings in the character creation screens to make pretty humans and elves. Crying babies can't use them though.

I would have been upset if they looked completely different than they used to.
You either like their style or you don't, a remastered version should as a primary guideline be faithful to the original.
