Probably used AI to migrate the codebase to UE 5 and charge 50. Bethesda + UE 5 is like a 20 year old chrysler with a rough country suspension... frame gen breaks combat, sounds are bad, the AI looks area scripted.
It just doesn't feel right. It feels like a weird abomination of old memories with your fears of having bad hardware.
Instead of giving us new AI, why are these companies using AI to enhance and exorbitantly up-sell old games preying on nostalgia?

There are no bad products, there are only bad prices (Learnt from Paul's Hardware). FYI: Rockstar gave GTA V enhanced for free. Sure, there will be trolls below soon to argue 'the difference wasn't as big or it is a new game'....sure but I am just pointing out that we as a community should take notice of this business model. Soon everyone will start using AI to migrate their old games and upsell them; because hey it works!

running an rtx 3080, and a 5950x 64gb, i might be remembering skyrim, but i seem to think that 100-200 mods skyrim/oblivion, looked very similar while outputting alot more FPS. not impressed by the DLSS shenanigans

Personally this is what I expect from a remaster, a game ported to a newer engine whilst keeping it as in-tact as possible. You paid for a remaster, got a remaster and complained it wasn't a remake. 😕

The game uses two engines, the physics and game logic are run using the original Gamebryo engine, where as Unreal is used to run the game's graphics,

So there has been no code migrated anywhere.
