its going to be a while before the modding scene for this version can catch up to the og game.

without official modding tools from bethseda for the hybrid UE5/gamebryo engine what is possible to do is limited. while some esp/esls are still in the code, alot of hooks inbetween gamebryo and UE5 need to be reverse engineered if bethseda doesn't step in to give us tools.

since bethseda has officially stated they are not providing mod support for this version, this means we have to rely on reverse engineering stuff. which takes time.

Thankfully it doesnt look like it will take too terribly long. These modders are so passionate they are already starting to blast stuff out.
Its crazy because I keep reading that UE is really hard to mod but these guys are already doing it.
I swear, Bethesda has the best modding community out there. These guys just go all out.

UE5 uses pak files so it's technically possible to do pak file modding to modify the tables and such, people already do it with Abiotic Factor and such.

There is also UE4SS mod which is a scripting system for supported games using UE4 and UE5 essentially.
