without official modding tools from bethseda for the hybrid UE5/gamebryo engine what is possible to do is limited. while some esp/esls are still in the code, alot of hooks inbetween gamebryo and UE5 need to be reverse engineered if bethseda doesn't step in to give us tools.
since bethseda has officially stated they are not providing mod support for this version, this means we have to rely on reverse engineering stuff. which takes time.
Its crazy because I keep reading that UE is really hard to mod but these guys are already doing it.
I swear, Bethesda has the best modding community out there. These guys just go all out.
There is also UE4SS mod which is a scripting system for supported games using UE4 and UE5 essentially.
