Forgot how much cooler light armor is in this game.

I created a warrior mage build and took heavy armor as one of my major skills. And I remember thinking, I wonder I I used to always take light armor because the penalties for heavy armor don't seem too bad not even on a mage character.

Well .. I remember now. The basic light armors in this game look 100x better. I just upgraded the pretty decent looking dwarven armor to the orcish armor that looks like it's some basic early game rusted metal armor. Meanwhile I'm looting all these incredibly cool glass armors etc from enemies.

Man, I really regret not taking light armor instead lol.

ebony and madness look very good to me for high tier heavy armors. I also like iron and steel a lot. I agree though that mid-tier heavy looks kinda bad and light armor has nicer stuff on average
