So are attribute Birthsigns worth it?
Warrior? Thief? Steed? So are they good or bad? Do you get 120 Str with it?

Apparently they didn't let you go over cap in the original, and with the fixed attribute leveling their value even as starting boosts is pretty diminished. I'd go for one of the powers now but I also play varying flavors of Atronach mages half the time.
Thief sign is really good compared to the rest in my opinion. Just because luck is more expensive and slow to level.
If you're playing the game for a long time other ones might be better, ultimately they kind of all do something you can do yourself by the end with magic or items.
Where as the lord sign might be the best because its just defense not tied to gear.

Not sure if you can go over max with the signs in this one, they're considered effects but also dont show your stats as being buffed by anything. I think thats how it originally worked.

Should i start level up luck from level 1?
Luck is nice to have, especially after you've started to cap other stats, but in terms of bonus to virtue cost its a little weak. I'd be careful leveling it early to avoid enemies outscaling you. early to midgame you want to focus on your combat capabilities because the enemies and difficulty ramp up pretty quickly. that or even strength, so you can carry and sell more to pay for skill training.

Once you feel like you've got the upper hand then you can start skimming points for luck. just don't put it off TOO long because you can only add +1 per level up.
