Reality Won - Body Type Selector is BACK on Nexus

Seems like their mods realized Nexus is not irreplaceable as they once though and now are panic retracting on the ban.

The kneejerk was so hard that they even nuked a chinese translation mod because it still used the old script with male/female, but at the same time they try to gaslight people into saying this "isn't really important".

Just a couple days ago a lot of people here were also saying that "this bigotry will never be allowed in Nexus" or "anyone with half a brain understands why this has to be banned", and now here we are.

if by "reality won" you mean limitless stupidity and zero self respect - then i can agree on that.

thing is, anyone with a few brain cells and a few drops of self respect would stop using nexus long time ago(after mod removal for starfield) and would never buy this flop in the first place, or at most refund on the spot.

instead you can see more than 100k online, that's finale, and that's a clear lose of common sense.

How is changing male/female in to body type 1 or 2 a positive change? The overwhelming majority of people identify as either male or female, nobody identifies as body type 1 or 2. Is this change supposed to specifically target non-binary individuals which are maybe 1% of the playerbase if I'm being extremely generous?

because the words body and type have nothing to do with gender or male and female, so it's a straight up typo fix/correction more than anything. it's not that deep. It's only blown out of proportion because it did not need to be fixed. It was never broken.

How is replacing an option with one that dehumanises character creation a good thing? The whole point of a character creator is to create a character you can humanise, regardless of whether it is Human or not.

I don't think this is winning or losing. It is about respecting gender rather than removing it. Microsoft doesn't respect, which is why it was removed.
