The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Ver estadísticas:
Is there a graphics memory leak?
I went through the prologue and as soon as I wanted to get out of the sewers the game crashed with video memory full.

Is there any known graphics memory leak there? (would be a first timer for me if my graphics card would be too weak for default settings on any game)

Potato owner ask if it's the game the problem and not his potato pc. lol
Definitely, i rolled back my drivers to 572.42 , runs better . but not sure it fix the leak.
I do not think the graphics memory leak is on any specific location.
I did not have any crash there, but just sometimes when I travel great distances on foot/horse etc, either exploring or doing a quest, and then by the end I fast travel to a town or try to enter a building etc, it crashes.
I think the leak is between loading a new scene without fully garbage collecting the old one.

Someone may be able to help here if OP would give more information.

Digital Foundry just released a video saying that there are dire performance issues. Its a stuttery mess for most people, but Oblivion 2006 was for the longest time too. So for most people its not really a problem. Its not so much anyone's PCs just absolutely no optimization as per usual with UE5 games.

Yup, definitely has memory leaks. Most crashes are caused by it.
Are you on an AMD machine? If yes, deactive SAM (Bios > Advanced Setup> PCI Something > Above 4G Decoding Off, Resize BAR Off).

I am having the same issue, no matter the graphics setting.

There is a memory leak. My PC far exceeds the recommended settings. With FSR and Frame Gen I'm getting 120fps at 4k. But eventually it gets choppy then crashes after running flawlessly for over an hour. Maybe do some research before being a ♥♥♥♥.

Thankfully it's not bethesda...so there's a chance it will get fixed!

I noticed a lot less issues when I disabled adrenaline frame gen. I forgot it's on by default.

first of all what are your specs?

its running well on my pc, rtx 3080, ryzen 9 5900x, 32gb ram. Everything on ultra except texture and shadow quality. DLSS quality and Lumen set to software on high, no frame generation. Capped at 60fps.

also download the mod Ultimate Engine Tweaks from nexus, it gave me a bit of extra fps and stopped major fps drops/stuttering. I've only had one crash in 30 hours of playing, and it was when leaving the Chorrol mages guild.

Only crashes I get are occasionally when doing alchemy, said crashes have only happened 3-4 times though

Why would you do this?

Outsourced through Bethesda to Asia. I wouldn't hold my breath.
