is there a way to reduce that ugly ass fog without console command?
i dont want to disable achievments and to deal with it

i get that if look into the distance in an open area there must be some fog

however the amount of fog in this game is stupid. entire cities are clouded with fog. interiors have tons of fog. even the dark brotherhood interior is full of fog.

enough with this nonesense already. why they made it like this?

I want to reduce the fog / mist too. I love it under certain circumstances, but the fog is too dense and its everywhere. Turning it off is too harsh, so I would like a slider or some way to fiddle with engine.ini to make the fog / mist less dense.

Gaming is going full circle. When 3D games first started coming out, every game had to have massive fog everywhere so the game could run at a playable framerate. Now games look "so good" that they need massive fog everywhere so they can run at a playable framerate. Good stuff.

If you can find a console command for this you can use it and then just download the mod that unblocks achievements
There are no console / unreal engine commands to mitigate fog, only remove it. Fog / mist is necessary to soften the look, but this game has way too much. It's like walking around in an almost permanently foggy world.

you dont need fog inside cities nor is it realistic. its realistic that there is fog when you look at the distance in an open area. but not inside interiors and not inside cities. chaydenhall especielly. that town is like walking in a lava crater with all the ugly fog covering it
This may help. I have not yet tried it.
