A Gate to Oblivion Found BEFORE going to Kvatch
I Somehow Found an Oblivion Gate before going to Kvatch, it appeared right of Fort Rayles & North West from Chorrol. Just curious if anyone else has too.

I had it too. And after i closed the gate, there was no remnants and no signs or mark on the map showing the gate location.

At least I'm not the only one then, Where was it?.
That was placed there deliberately, it's part of the story told in the game (every player will have the same occurrence). First Oblivion gate appears near Kvatch. You will understand why when you continue playing.

I know the first is suppose to appear in Kvatch as I played the original back in 2006, usually after doing the Kvatch quest they can appear randomly besides set locations, so i was just surprised it was out of sequence this time.
There's definitely a bug. I had three pop up around the Ancestor Moth Temple. Not supposed to be there if you haven't started the main quest. Reload and they go away.
I just found one just north west from Fort Nikel, as I was walking to Chorrol to progress the Deliver the Amulet main quest. This is definitely a bug.

If I remember correctly, if the player just does other things for too long instead of moving the story along, they do start to spawn into the world. There is a calendar and while time doesn't matter too much in game, this is one of the things that was affected.

I had one in my game as well before I ever got to Kvatch. I did a lot of leveling up before that. I think it was triggered by hitting lvl 20. Don't quite remember what lvl it was specifically but it was high.
