Exploding shops
Literally every shop I've entered looks like its just been raided, decor, books and random items all over the floors, bookshelves struggling to hold onto items, npc's pulling stuff off the counters.

I've played 7 hours and people are definitely overhyping this game, Its just a lazy remake of Oblivion that looks nice. Npc's still spoil quest endings even AFTER they supposedly fixed that.

Shop inventories are supposed to explode, that's how you know it's an authentic experience.
There's a difference between a remaster, and a remake, this is the former.

I haven't experienced merchant instances having exploding physics issues though. Do you have any mods installed?

This happens on weak systems, usually.
What's your specs?

its not so much that things "explode", its just that a lot of decor is on the ground or out of place
Sounds like fps fluctuations screwing with the physics system

No mods, just vanilla for the first playthrough. Every shop I've entered has been a mess.
There is a bug with the spawning system that is placing some objects inside clipping range. So when you enter they trigger collisions and fly off around the room. Also causes some enemies to spawn underground or inside the terrain due to spawning to close.

Never had that in the original but in the remaster sometimes items get knocked off shelves when reloading a cell. That usually happens in Skyrim in your homes.
I don't have a weak system so it's not the issue. Game is stable at 200fps even with ultra.

That is ironically the main cause. The physics engine goes nuts, when you start going above 60fps.

So even if you're playing on Ultra, you should limit fps to 60?

Yup, in bethesdas games the engine physics are usually tied to fps and if you go above 60, things will start to go wonky.

I have a problem with the maid in my castle, she is rude to me, lol. Keeps telling with with an angry tone - what do you want, every time I walk by.

Sounds like an almost authentic experience.

It will be perfect when you get blamed for the mess, called "criminal scum" and accused of "stealing" just by walking through the door :D
