Once OBSE is ported to Remastered, we should see UI mods spring back up like back in the day.
Remaster, not remake. The UI had small tweaks but it's basically the same as before.
This was actually perfectly fine 20 years ago.
I have many times and have many copies. The old layout was better.
Sorry I missed a colon. "RE: the UI"
RE: = regarding.
I think its worse than the original.
The best thing is to wait for a better UI to be made by a modder -- hopefully someone will port Darnified UI over to this version, and hopefully soon.
Check out these screenshots -- https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/10763
Bethesda did the same with Skyrim, and modders fixed it with the popular SkyUI mod.
This is all normal and part of the charm of Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, in my opinion. Most people who haven't been steeped in these games since Morrowind don't see it, and think "What good is a game that has to be modded?"
The rest of us think "What good is a game if you can't mod the ever-loving heck out of it?"
I don't usually mod games that much because I like how its intended to be played but considering how bad this one is with the remaster vs the original, I think I'm going seriously consider modding it. Thanks tho.
