Staff of worms/reanimate broken
Anyone find a fix for reanimate being busted? Haven't seen any mods or work arounds for it yet.

How is it busted?
When you cast reanimate, on a corpse, there seems to be some sort of desync and the targeted model goes into a rigid pose, as if struck my a paralyze spell. The model attempts to right itself, while maintaining the pose, leaving the feet on the ground and the model raised up maybe 30 degrees from the ground, the entire model rotating, attempting to rise.

Zoning in and out will fix this issue, but as the spell has a 30 second duration, its not viable for combat at the moment, with this issue.

Damn, I did the whole mages guild quest to get this staff

There's a mod out there that improves daedric artifacts including staff of worms increasing its duration to 120 seconds, since you mentioned zoning in and out fixes the issue increasing the duration might work as a temporary fix but I haven't tried it myself.

Sounds lame, but also even when the staff works it's completely useless for combat. It's a gimmick at best.

All special staffs are broken. Staff of Worms is broken, Skull of Corruption does not work properly and neither does Wabbajack. Good job Todd!

I also want to add that in the original game the staff was quite underpowered, 30 seconds for this kind of spell is nothing. Especially considering how much effort you have to go through to get it.

You can get Reanimate greater power called "Risen Flesh" from the Shivering Isles. Not sure if that works any better.

I was afraid of this, with the game being so big Virtuous likely didn't test every single aspect of the game, they mainly worked on the renderer and redoing all the assets but they likely only tested the main quest and a little bit of exploring.

Fixing the grand prize at the end of the mages guild should of been a blocker before release.
