This is exactly my experience, and I've also lost my save so now I have to begin again. I was able to put in quite a few hours seemingly with no issues, logged in the next day loaded with errors and crashes. My saved game is corrupted somehow so I decided to reinstall, and all the same errors are occurring.
I've reverifyed the installed game filed and ofc restarted my computer
Good thing is; I've seen a few larger youtube channels discuss this big issue so maybe the devs will get on it quickly. They arent Bethesda, after all.
I received the "OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping" error but fixed it with this post

I found the problem! Vortex is messing up the plugin.txt file. After restoring the file to the original load order of the base ESP, there were no more issues. So Uninstall all the mods in Vortex. Then delete all the lines in the plugins.txt file and copy in the original load order. After that, you can reinstall the mods through Vortex without any issues.
The correct load order is as follows
Oblivion.esm
DLCBattlehornCastle.esp
DLCFrostcrag.esp
DLCHorseArmor.esp
DLCMehrunesRazor.esp
DLCOrrery.esp
DLCShiveringIsles.esp
DLCSpellTomes.esp
DLCThievesDen.esp
DLCVileLair.esp
Knights.esp
AltarESPMain.esp
AltarDeluxe.esp
AltarESPLocal.esp
No, youd didnt find anything, you modded your game, you are on your own, we are only talking about vanilla game here, devs cant help with things you did yourself
The issue: Installing mods through Nexus and crashing no matter the mod used, if something is enabled I have to verify file integrity and try again. It launches fine without mods after verifying integrity and launching after disabling all mods. Crashing after installing any mod to Oblivion Remastered or "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION".
Resolution: Go into Vortex, click the button that says "Load Order" on the left-hand side (for me) where it says Mods/Collections/Load Order under the tabs that says Downloads/Games/Extensions/etc. --- Once you're in the "Load Order" tab, click "Reset Plugins File" and do that. Vortex messes up the load order, thus not capable of launching and this should hopefully fix someone else's problem.
Edit - Formatting/spelling
Unreal 5 is very unstable for my PC with most games, but I managed to get Oblivion to stop frequently crashing like this today. First I started with Performance Core Ratio underclocking my i9-14900k CPU down from 58x to 52x. Then in the Oblivion Remaster folder, I found the game icon, went to properties and selected "Run game as administrator" under the compatibility tab. So far I've had full stability for about 5 hours, when before, it was crashing every 15-20 mins.
