Windows is installed on a Sata SSD but the game is installed on a NVMe (Not sure if it makes an issue)
All my bios and drivers are up to date, i even uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled them

You have a much better rig then i do and i see some people are playing with much less, its gotta be a user error or something that we can fix, i just wouldn't even know where to begin.
I also had the same crash just happen now, how OD, but i mean to be expected lol

My game crashes when I try to load the latest save. Unreal Engine is such a joke.
It's running on the mid 2000's OG Gamebryo engine with UE5 piled on top. So far, I don't think they fixed any issues associated with the old engine.

Remaster has the old loading hangs. Especially in the known spots like leaving Anvil city in front of the lighthouse. Have fun sitting on the load screen hoping for it to load. This points to the OG cache problem not being addressed.

Known physics hangs and related CTD's just like Oldblivion.

All easy to replicate mission bugs and breaks are intact. Some people will just break a quest and not realize it until hours later and have saved over their files.

Pretty sure the formID bug is still there but it's gonna take a 70-100 hour save to verify and no one is addressing that question officially.

No idea also if the game actually clears the cache automatically now or if it's going to clog up and create a log jam that leads to instability/loading hangs. Have fun clearing your cache manually, lol.

Menu CTD still happening.

Digital Foundry has a great video on it and shows some jank they encountered running dual screens.

If you go to some of the more mature and quieter parts of the Internet you will find people having some serious concerns about the game, and what that means for it's continued support and what Bethesda are willing to do to address the remaining issues.
It is in borderless window by default, try fullscreen. I haven't had a crash yet since doing that around lunch. I had 3 crashes in about 2 hours this morning. I am have an RTX-4090, I9-11900K and and at 1440p using DLSS quality with medium raytracing, frame paging enabled and Nvidia reflex+boost synced at 60hz. Oh and settings all high, ultra is rather demanding lol.

Yea not working for me I just switched from borderless to fullscreen and it’s still crashing, I’m right outside the sewer as soon as I move for about 20-30sec the game freezing completely and then crashes, a lot of times if I’m in the main menu for similar times messing with settings it freezes and crashes

my game froze on the intro try closing out of the game and before loading a new game go into your graphic settings and hit auto config... my game has been running smoothly since then.

Gotcha your saying to start a new save? You think the other save is corrupted? But one of my main issues is that the game freezes and crashes on the main menu and I do have the settings on auto config.

My game acting up after the 2 gigs update, freeze mid game and freeze again when i reload the saves from main menu.
Ayana613 Apr 26 @ 9:20am
I updated my graphics card driver last night and started crashing everytime I tried to load my save game. Sometimes I could get all the way into the game and then it would crash. I rolled my driver back to the previous and no crash from that. Now crashing from saving in Skingrad or quick jumping from there is a diff story
I can't even start the game, it just goes to a black screen for a few seconds when I launch, and then instantly crashes

2 Gig update? Steam hasn't updated. Are you on Gamepass?

Also, for those crashing - any mods? If so, make sure they are updated. If that doesn't work, remove them 1 at a time until you find the problem.
