Can't place items

I can't put books in bookshelves, or move wine bottles into those wine crates, or set tables, or do anything. The items just fly everywhere as soon as I hold down E to interact with them.

Is there ANY fix for this? Decorating player houses was my favorite part of the original game and it's completely broken and I don't think enough people give a ♥♥♥♥ for the devs to fix it either.

But seriously, we have player housing in the game we SHOULD be able to decorate it and show off rare books instead of everyone's house looking the same because the game acts like you had a tornado indoors every time you touch something

Seriously it's horrible. They somehow made it worse than it was in 2006. And not only that a lot of items end up on the floor when loading in to a building/house the first time and there's no easy way to put them back so they just stay on the floor. I guess all we can do is hope for a mod. We'd be seriously lucky if the dev did anything to fix it.

This is really bad in shops where you can't fix it without getting called a thief for stealing by moving the objects. I'm hoping enough people complain that they fix it; where do we even contact them to let them know there's a issue with the game?

LOL I dropped a stolen item in a shop (that didn't belong to the shop or owner) and picked it up (grab, not take) and the guards still arrested me.
