You may find why the game crash is you look in the event viewer of windows

Search for event viewer in your task bar => open it => then on the left side you should see "Windows Logs" tab => Application and System tabs may be interesting.

On the right side, you should add a filter for "Critital", "Error" and "Warning" events. When you look at the events, look at the time of the event to make sure it's related to the crash.

If you have doubts => play until the game crash => Refresh application or system tab with a right clic => refresh => look at the last error

I'm not saying you're gonna find answers from the logs, but you may find something worth your while

we've figured it out, it was auto saves, whenever the game autosaved the game crashed for him, he's turned off autosaving and the crashing has stopped, weird issue though :/ thanks though

Well, indeed that's weird but glad you solved it
Make sure the same crash doesn't happen with the manual save though

Enjoy the game

Quick saving, manual saving, auto saving. It worked before just fine for three hours but now saving means an automated crash and you lose progress.

Specs: RX 9070 XT, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 64gb 6000mhz DDR5 ram.

Same issue, looked into the "MyGames" Folder and not "Oblivion Remastered" Folder
Tryed Coping it from a PC where it still works, but no success.

Also cannot access the Crash report with (simplified) Error "Folder Missing", but Repairing via Steam doesnt help. But the error fits the issue if the folder is gone.

Maybe there is an Alternate Save Location? the Folder in AppData thats supposed to be there is also missing.

Well, it looks like I found a workaround. I encountered constant crashes during saves when I got to the Hackdirt location. When leaving one of the houses (Marlena Brussnier's House), the game began to crash during saves, moreover, the game began to crash for no reason when moving to a quest location. Fortunately, I did not continue playing and simply tried to find a solution to the problem. The problem was in a broken save, because of which crashes began to appear in the game. Fortunately, I did not go far. I began to roll back to the save and check it with a quick save, whether it would crash the game. And thank God, I found a third save in which a quick save did not crash the game, it was just in Marlena Brussnier's House. But this time I didn't go out the front door, but made a detour through the catacombs in this location, constantly checking all the transitions between locations with a quick save. And I was able to get out into the open world and now I can continue playing normally. On reddit, they offer a way to teleport to a safe location through the console on an already corrupted save, I haven't tried it, but they say it works.
