🔨 No DLSS fix (waiting for official hotfix - 25 Apr 2025)
Ok, if you can't wait for the official fix... In the meanwhile open CONSOLE (key depends on your keyboard and nationality, e.g.: the key under ESC, key <, key after L etc.) and type, for example for DLSS 1 frame, Quality:
Altar.DLSS.Enabled 1 Altar.DLSS.FG.Enabled 1 Altar.DLSS.Quality 4

You have to re-do the trick every time you launch the game, unfortunately. Better than nothing.

NOTE: it will mark your savegame as "no achievements" (broken icon), so use this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/125?tab=files

EDIT1:
I've found it's enough to specify in the Engine.ini of this game:
[ConsoleVariables] Altar.DLSS.FG.Enabled=1
to auto-enable it on startup. You can also add Altar.DLSS.Quality <1-5> if you want.

Of course you can explore more settings while you type:
Altar.DLSS...
Altar.FSR3...

Use FSR3 with FG in the meantime.

Apparently GamePass has an update that broke DLSS...... STEAM versions are fine

My settings that worked and look good, out of game set your 'texture filtering' in gpu settings for Oblivion RE to high and then in game set the FSR to performance. Put raytracing at the lowest possible and then set everything else to Ultra at 1080p,

This looks good and is stable above 60 fps with a 6750 xt. Which is a mid video card, equivalent to a rtx 3070 or 3060 ti.
Hope this helps, I realize nvidia handles raytracing better so you might be able to up those settings......idk
fsr works pretty good.

Is there any trick to activate those commands without losing the achievements? Loading a previous savegame, config file or anything like that?

Downloading Oblivion now, 3x framegen works really well on 5090 in Black Myth Wukong after latest patch. I wanna use DLAA at smooth 144Hz in Cyrodiil!

You know commands for that?
BTW this makes your saves edited. Disables achievements if you care.
Made me realize how horrifically bad the performance is. Under 120 fps on all LOW settings on 1440p ultra wide without DLSS....on a 4090. That's honestly just unacceptable.

Edit: Can't forget the random, distracting split second hiccups everywhere.

If you care about achievements, don't use console commands. It will flag your save game so you won't earn any achievements anymore.

https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/125 this mod removes the achievement blocking when using console.
