Do you have a save before you entered the poison? Did completely shutting down game help?

Hopefully its just the game, but you might want to test your RAM, just in case. If you have a spare USB flash drive, I recommend using Memtest86. If you don't have a spare USB drive, then use the built in memory diagnostic app within windows.
I'm getting the same error randomly.

my fix was:
quit game
turn off cloud save
delete the save i was trying to load and causing issues (maybe copy and paste somewhere just incase)
load up game with different save

this worked fine for me

i tried i different save with my, what i know now to be a corrupted quick save, and it still crashed. removing the corrupted save worked
I am getting this repeatedly, especially in the arena area.

AMD 9800X3D
Nvidia RTX 5090 Founders Edition
G.Skill 64GB DDR5 @ 6400Mhz RAM
Samsung Gen4 NVMe SSD

Not necessarily, I'm getting a similar crash whenever I pass certain points in Gold Coast, sent my save file off to a few buddies to test and we found the crash can be replicated across various sets of hardware, the crash log ends with kernel32 as well

I also had random crashing. Not sure if it made a dif, but since I havent crashed in like 3 hours. I cleared the shader cache (right click c drive, properties, disk cleanup, check shaders) and I run the game as admin from the steamapps\common folder. Right click oblivion app and run as admin.

Since you said you "no matter what i try" I'm going to assume you tried loading different saves so if that is true then it's likely not an issue with a corrupted save file.

if other saves are messed up also. you need to delete the save that is in use when you press "continue"
