Engine.ini fix to use DLSS + FG after the patch!
Add these lines to Engine.ini and make the file read-only:

[SystemSettings]
Altar.UpscalingMethod=1
Altar.DLSS.Quality=4
Altar.DLSS.FG.Enabled=1
Altar.Reflex.Mode=3

DLSS Quality -> 4 = Quality, 5 = Balanced, 6 = Performance, 7 = Ultra Performance
Reflex: 1 = On, 3 = On + Boost
Engine. ini path:
Game Pass - C:\Users\\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\WinGDK
Steam - C:\Users\\%USERNAME%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows

Do not forget to set the file to read-only! This also works when using the DLSS + FSR mod.

EDIT: For those using FSR.

[SystemSettings]
Altar.FSR3.Enabled=1
Altar.FSR3.FI.Enabled=1
Altar.FSR3.Quality=2
Altar.FSR3.Sharpness=25

It didn't help me, you still can't change the settings in the menu, the reading mode was saved

That just means you haven't gotten the patch yet. Be sure to disable auto-updates.

did you find how to up the render resolution? since the patch (im playing on game pass) it seems they turned the render res down to 50 or so %

I like that you trust them, when they were the ones to break it. Editing these things are fine, its basically accessing the settings page from the desktop when the game isnt running. I usually go into the setting like this if a game has dept of field, and they dont let you disable it in game. So the fact we cant access DLSS from in game, this is great

Talking about the gamepass version, stealthdropped a patch that broke dlss apparently.

The Game Pass version was patched. For some reason MS is still in the year 2000 when it comes to doing updates on platforms. But at least the Game Pass users are beta testers for us.

Dont worry your pretty little head about it, it was a botched patch and lord Gabe protected us from it.
