enable DLSS FSR XESS upscaling with console commands (gamepass issue)
Open console
enter the following:

altar.upscalingmethod X

Replace X with the number for your gpu make.

1 nvidia
2 amd
3 intel.

Pick the right command for your gpu from the following and enter it.

Nvidia DLSS
altar.dlss.quality X

AMD FSR
altar.fsr.quality X

Intel XeSS]
altar.xess.quality X

Replace X with number 1-7

DLSS
1 native?
2 DLAA
4 quality
5 balanced (default)
6 performance
7 ultra performance

FSR
0 native
1 quality
2 balanced (default)
3 performance

XESS
1 ultra performance
2 performance
3 balanced(default)
4 quality

Will set upscaler to Nvidia DLSS and set DLSS quality setting to ultra performance.

frame gen commands:

Can't believe that they dropped a "patch" that broke the upscaling on a Friday!!!

not that i know of dude, you could try changing keyboard language see if it's that or try adding "bAllowConsole 1" to the ini file but i'm sure its on by default.

I'm not sure dlss even works. We are getting the following frames with a given config...

start config 46-51
dlss quality = 5 36 - 45
dlss quality = 6 30 - 52

So I'm not seeing any difference, especially considering that depending on the time of day (in-game) I can be getting as low as

16-18 fps or even 12-14 fps with that configuration.

With such terrible and inconsistent performance, even if dlss was working, which it doesn't appear to be, it wouldn't amount to even a fraction of the error when considering the other gross performance issues.

only frame generation fixes the fps for me.
We took out our Ryzen 5, 3600 and put in a Ryzen 7 5700X - I had gotten it pretty cheap recently, but hadn't bothered putting it in. With just the CPU upgrade we saw a 20 fps improvement on the low end of the typical frames with a more modest 10 fps improvement at the top of the observed framerate.
Is there any method to enable DLSS Frame Generation? The option is somehow greyed out for me even though I have a RTX 4060.
