Caught in the hunt quest

So I've finseshed the quest i killed the orc and take the authentic key, but the quest doesn't go for the next step and I can't finish it, it keeps me saying that i have to get out of the ruins. I've taken the boat back to the city, but nothing happens. I've went to talk to Aleron's wife but she is still giving me information about the island, it's like i didn't have complete the previous step of the quest. but i have already did it.
