I bought haunted house for 5k gold and did quest to clear out the ghosts.

Can I store my loot in here without it be gone despawned in few hours or I have to carry everything constantly?

It should be safe for storage but you might want to test it first. Put something in a container then come back in a few days and see if it's still there.

I don't have that quest yet, but the free room at a tavern has storage and all the stuff stays there just fine. You could always put some junk in the house storage to test it out, just to reassure you.
