The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

GPU Crash dump Triggered... Anyone have a fix?
This is the error I get every time the game crashes:
GPU Crash dump Triggered

OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
OblivionRemastered_Win64_Shipping
kernel32
ntdll

-------------------------------------------

The error occurs randomly, but SIGNIFICANTLY more when I am talking to people. Especially Armand from the Thieves Guild

PC Specs:
OS - Win 11
CPU - i9 9900K
GPU - Nvidia RTX 2080 Super
Mem - 32GB 2667 MHz
Storage - 1 TB Samsung NVMe
Overclocking - None

Steps I've taken to resolve:
1. Reboot PC
2. Update all PC and GPU drivers
3. Revert GPU drivers to oldest available from Nvidia site
4. Changed in game settings from medium to low
5. Changed the raytracing setting (lumen?) to every possible combination
6. Disabled/enabled DLSS and tweaked the settings
7. Applied Engine.ini change that disables raytracing. Didn't work so I uninstalled the mod
8. Disabled any game overlays
9. Verified game files via Steam
10. Made sure all unnecessary apps were closed
11. Allowed the game through antivirus & firewall
12. Renamed the sl.pcl.dll file to sl.pcl.dll.old. Reverted after it didn't work.
13. Set OblivionRemastered-Win64-Shipping.exe and OblivionRemastered.exe to run as admin

I've done more to test, but I have reverted everything to its original state after nothing worked.

have you tried deleting the shader file and let the game compile it again.

Where do I find the shader files?
I kept the crash report thing up and just relaunched the game and it never crashed. I was just joking around about it but obviously fivehead play you can't crash if you already crashed.
This may not work for everyone, but it worked for me. I tried all sorts of things, after crashing several times in a row, to get this to stop crashing. Restarting (which was giving me a window to play but would still crash over time), Run as Administrator, compatibility mode, disable overlays, full screen, windowed, tweaked a whole bunch of settings hoping that a reduced load on the GPU would help. Didn't help in the slightest. Got to the ray tracing and switched Lumen Hardware RT off to put into software mode. Been running on high quality without restarting to see if it would help. So far so good. I don't expect to be crash free on a new release but constantly loading in to crash right out is pretty annoying.
remove any GPU overclocks and reduce a setting or two try turning off reflex see if that solves it. run OCCT stress test for an hour or 30 mins check for hardware stability if its stable then its an issue with the latest driver and the game.
There is no fix for this, its just the wonderful UE engine.
R 3700x RX 6600 16 gb ram. NVME
Stable high graphics with FSR 3-Balance no crashes for a few days now after a series of fixes.
I used to get the GPU Crash dump every few fast travels or after an hourish of gameplay.

Fixes used:
-Run as Administrator
-Disable both Steam Overlay and AMD Overlay.
-Download "Ultimate Engine Tweaks" by P40L0X on Nexus(always backup files)
-Disable as much as possible within the AMD game controller regarding overrides, and let the game engine handle.
- force windows Graphics Settings tab for Oblivion Exe to run at High Performance

Also I recommend testing whether disabling Gsync-Freesync on your monitor and allowing the in game engine to handle vsync will help your stability. The old oblivion always had issues with disabling its vsync with stability, let alone the now "fixed" physics issues prevalent at the time
If you have an NVIDIA card, try to enable "DEBUG MODE" in the CONTROL PANEL.

I tried before everything I could find and this one works for me

I had this same issue and it was unfortunately right after I installed a mod, so I thought I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my game with the mod, or settings, so I was trying to reset my settings deleting the mod etc, but I was still crashing. After a reinstall/restart, the same thing happened, so I just loaded a 20 min earlier save, and then it worked. I think this has to do with something I did in-game, so the last thing I did basically was the ayleid well at the north east side of the imperial city. After I pressed that I started to crash at every loading.

I havent made it past the 4 hour playtime yet... every 3rd load screen is interrupted with this error. I have also applied all of the above listed fixes with no luck. Running AMD Radeon 6600 XT, 32 gig ram, 4T M.2 drive, My processor is only a 4 core, as the game reminds me every time i launch.

Try switching from FSR3 to XeSS on balanced If you have it enabled, worked for me. Also try enabling Radeon chill and Anti lag + i think it was antistropic filter override over AMD center as well. Played a couple hours Yesterday with no crashes (Software RT disabled by engine.ini search nexus for it)
Can i mention that you can try to Disable ReBar ? maybe this will help.
FSR Enabled, Frame Gen Enabled, Screen space reflections disabled. FSR Sharpness 50% and I'm doing well.
I saw someone with this sort of CPU CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF ressolve their issues by doing a BIOS update. Their thread is on here somewhere. Lots of people with i9 processors I've noticed seem to have crash issues.

I've a i7 and haven't had any crashes.

This is a GPU bug in the engine. Stop lying. *Everyone* is crashing.
