Anyone else getting headaches and neck strain when playing?
Turned off head bob, lowered settings to try to improve framerate, changed to fsr, etc... I have a pretty good system but wondering if anyone else is having issues and what they did to resolve issue? tks for any tips, was really wanting to play this game.

Nope, though games where you can peer around corners I can't help but crane my head to the side and that definitely gives me neck strain. I can't seem to stop from doing that either.

I can't play for more than 20 minutes without immense eye strain and a killer headache. I've tried everything as far as settings, and even mods that remove chromatic aberration. Unfortunately I've given up on it. It seems I'm not alone, but it isn't a common reaction, so I'm not sure if there will be any solution.
I've had similar issues in the past and found that disabling Depth of Field and Motion Blur, regardless of the game, makes a world of difference.

That, and take a beverage break every hour or so. :steamhappy:

This - motion blur is always the first i disable in games
Neck strain would be a posture issue. Perhaps you need a DSE assessment?

Yup, same with DoF, Chromatic and Film Grain. All terrible graphic options that shouldn't be in games in the first place.

While possible, it seems that OP has a particular problem with this game.

If they didn't have them, then upscaling would look even worse. That's why game devs force it on :steamhappy:
Perhaps your discomfort is related to the FOV change / zoom whilst sprinting?
Haven't looked into it but presumably there is a way to disable that effect.

ya I do the same thing, I'm always tinkering with game settings to find games I can play. I'm about 50/50 with some games effecting me and others not. But I already have neck and back issues so I'm sure this is a factor.

ya another thing I do with games that move you to a different area when running and change how you look on the screen... I just don't run lol

I also have a timer that goes off every 20 minutes to remind me to look up, and focus on a distant object for 20 seconds.
