Can't get PRID to work
Or at least, I don't think it's working. For example, in the console I'll type:

Prid XXXXXXXX moveto player

And the 'XXXXXXXX' NPC I'm targeting doesn't appear to be affected.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Can you target NPC's with PRID in the remaster?

Same. Not working
Not just you, I can't make it work either. I suppose it is disabled by the engine, because it doesn't say "function not recognized" or anything like that, but to quote Todd, "it just works [NOT!]"
If you click on a npc in game and then use the id it works but if you try to load the same id again in a different save it doesn't work. It's like their identifiers don't stay constant or something. I clicked on a npc then used prid 00000xxx. Then I used player moveto and it reset the npc and moved them to me. When I loaded up a new save while still running it didn't recognise the prid I had set.

They changed the console commands. The older commands names were changed to avoid conflict with the new ones. They added a prefix to the older ones.

I believe all ids for the remaster are the same as og, so using player.placeatme with whatever id your looking for should work the same

yeah I think they are the same from what I've tested but I want to be able to teleport to an NPC instead of moving him to me and can't do that without prid. I feel like I will ♥♥♥♥ something up if I move npcs to random locations/other cities

I understand, I haven't come across a situation where I need to move myself to an npc, so I can't say how or why prid may not work. Hopefully some googling can give you what you need
