Here's a direct comparison of graphical presentation and some gameplay mechanics. The remaster if faithful to the original design, but not a 1/1 copy.
If you are aware that this is a remaster, NOT a remake and you fine with that, yes worth it.
Just have the right expectations, it's a clunky, janky, game of 2006, it's not Elden Ring or Wukong, not even good old Skyrim.
If you CANT mod, you have to ask if slightly better graphics and sprinting is worth 30$.
Actually, stability. UE5 is more stable than gamebryo, thousand times.
But both the good 300 mods guides on the OG one you can find on nexus, can actually take the OG on the same (probably) better graphic quality of this so it's a close call. I would buy this over modding OG because this has the hybrid leveling system OG does not, and a much cooler menu page :P
