Loading screen simulator.....
.....I am sometimes afraid to open the door, scared that I will be challenged with yet another loading screen. M.2 samsung pro is helping the loading screen pain but should we really have sooooo many loading screens? Can they do smooth indoors, outdoors transition? Bro?

Mods can do that. The game can get more buggy and laggy because of it though.

Look at Open cities mod for Skyrim. It highlights the problems that goes with that mod.

I hope that remaster will support mods. I really need this mod.
What, 0.2 seconds per screen? First-world problem.
Well I get like 3 seconds of load tops, might wanna look into faster ssd maybe idk :aushrug: regardless it's how the original game ways so they likely didnt change all that cuz ease and well not messing up preformance or causing other issues.

There is over 200 mods on nexus already. Some of them adding new NPCs/monsters to the game already.

That's basically what the original was...
smaller spaces actually help increase the framerate (FPS) because there are less resources in the scene.
Larger spaces = more loading to do but possibly less frequent.

Well... Since this one
https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/files/file/254-open-cities-reborn/
also contains resource, it would require to be redone for UE5.
As resources need to be PAK-files in "~mods"-folder.

Oh those 1 second loading screens are a non issue to me.

UE5 -> Very, VERY moddable
Integrated Gamebryo - > (old OBV engine - > very moddable)

almost 300 mods already out and working.

I don't mind short loading screens either but waiting dozens of seconds to load in a game (not talking about Oblivion now) is a no-go for me now in general.

When I was young we walked up hill both ways in the snow with no shoes while waiting for our load screens and we liked it!

Yes, but I was speaking about a specific mod called Open Cities Reborn.

That one is under the control of AFK modding.
So it would be their thing to adapt it for UE5/Gamebryo-marriage as it would not work out of the box.

Waiting 1 - 2 seconds is considered bad and loading screen simulator?

Talk about nip picking

Yeah, I was shortly wondering if this is the Starfield hub. ^^
