Game prompts me to delete a save when trying to load from anywhere but title screen

I was able to play fine for a couple hours being able to load my saves after dying as normal then when I died when time it prompted me to delete my save instead of loading it does this weather i try to input it via my controller or keyboard leaving me very confused. Im only able to load saves from the main title menu. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same issue accidentally deleted a couple saves before realizing what was happening. It even does it for me at the title screen aswell.

Its never happand to me on the title screen before so thats new. For me Restarting the game normally fixes the issue but I cant find out whats causing it for the life of me. This issue only happand for me after installing some very light mods but the issue still persisted after uninstalling them. I was only running Engine fixes, Baka Achievement enabler, and trainwiz's unleveled uniques along with obse.
