As it was in GOTY edition, Telekinesis worked like an extended grab arm. At the moment it just pushes what you've casted on.
Might have been a range issue. It's working as I recall again.
Yes and no? Yes I apparently massively underestimated how close 10 feet was or how tall my character is. It works on some things. It won't work on weapons on the ground, it doesn't work on Alchemy gear, and I don't think it works on Welkynd Stones. I can levitate bowls though. Not really sure whats going on with it.
These issues weren't in the original Oblivion, and I hope there's a fix for these issues soon, official or otherwise.
Even at 86% absorb if you miss one out of ten it sets me back. I just use a telekinesis staff for refilling. Works great.
Not to mention Detect Life works on vampires. There undead so it shouldn't work on them. But I can't get Telekenisis working either, so screw it.
* you can grab and hold an item with it but you can't interact with it in any way until the spell wears off. Be careful grabbing something the second it wears off too, could be unrelated but twice I've been mashing 'E' when it wore off and ended up getting the infinite loading screen bug when i next tried to transition screens.
If you're an Atronach it has been patched so you can still use it even with 100% spell absorb and it still recovers your magicka like the original.
