I did notice the usual UE5 ghosting/spotty particle things around objects/shadows pretty bad in the prison. Where I was getting 45fps lol
This is pretty common for UE5.

Kinda sounds like an excuse for lazy devs, cuh.

UE5 confirmed as cancer for the gaming industry
my 5080 will generate AI FPS to make it 60fps :VBCOOL:

LOL what?

4080 is 100% still a very valid 4k card. In most benchmarks, it trails the 5080 by only about 8–10 frames per second.

This game is just optimised like dog balls due to EU5 which is a console engine half arse ported to PC.
The day people realize 4K isnt worth the performance hit can't get here fast enough...just like Ray tracing. 1080p is ok, not great, tad blurry, 1440p is perfect. I agree UE5 performance is trash. No dev that i've seen can get around the UE5 performance issues. But, im playing this at 1440p, max settings with the ray tracing option off at 120fps on 13900k, 4080, 32gb 3000mhz ram and an m.2 ssd. No issues outside of the very occasional dip to 110ish fps. But, with Gsync on, don't even notice the dips at all.

Can't even run cyberpunk ultra everything at 4k native without ai assistance. If you turn down some settings then even 3080ti can still play at 4k ( while sounding like a jet engine)

This is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They are absolutely 4k. This engine is total BS. They are using overdone crap to force and make people think their cards are crap. This is insane. These cards have TONNES of power. The egine is ♥♥♥♥.

The day people notice the rug pull... We had 4k gaming at the 1080ti and 2080ti and this engine was a total rug pull on us. Thats the problem. NOT our cards. Its the ♥♥♥♥ engine. RedEngine runs fine. So does IDtech so do many others that arent basic baby dev engines. Unless you are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pro, Unreal runs like total crap. Stop buying into this junk. Look how they have stolen cores from us. The 80 series used to have 90% of a titan core. Now we have 80 series with core ratios of a 1060. Its a joke.
Try KCD 2 or Stalker 2 or any other games that released this year...what's that new one that released? Yup can't run it either...

8p series is a one gen 4k card...it's why I'll always go 1440p...4k is a tough high to chase.
If we're being real about it. This game isn't well optimized and that's the answer. High end cards are struggling to keep a consistent 60fps in this game without DLSS. Frame gen takes you upwards of 100fps but like the point is there aren't any cards out there right now that are running this natively at 4k with a steady 60fps including the 50 series. This isn't a "get a better GPU issue" this is a game optimization issue imo.

At the very least on my 4080 Super I've been able to play relatively fine capped at 60fps (with occassional dips into the mid to high 50's namely in the overworld) but that's with DLSS Quality on (sharpening at 50) and I play at 1440p. But that's crazy to even say isn't it? A 1000 dollar GPS can't run close to 60fps consistently in this game without the help of AI upscaling AND it goes down to like 40 DLAA native.

Right now it's a little stuttery at times, needs help with its optmization or lack thereof but overall for me it's at least playable with DLSS rn while they hopefully patch the performance over time.
