Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this Oblivion Remaster is a good game.
I have no choice but to disagree with the hundreds of posts pouring irrational and almost schizophrenic hatred on this great remaster, which is effectively a remake.
I played the original on its release date, then added hundreds of mods, and now, playing this spectacular remaster, it has managed to surprise me with its quality. Its good taste and know-how reward Oblivion fans.
The world is a thousand times more vivid; if you're observant, you'll notice thousands of details everywhere: marine life, physics with flags, clothing and hair that move depending on where the wind blows, insects, animals, birds flying over the game's different towns and cities, geometry, textures, and many more details in caves, temples, water, lighting, etc.
The game accepts mods when that was one of the main criticisms. People who hate it will continue to look for any excuse, however small, to vent their hatred, no matter how good it is, but I have to defend it. It's a good game, and a better remaster will set a standard. After FO3 is remastered, we'll see a remastered Skyrim like the two aforementioned games, I'm sure.
The game doesn't deserve so much hate, and it's also a good price and free on Game Pass.
Please comment respectfully and don't trample each other.
Thank you very much.

careful, having an actual opinion about the game will no doubt spark drama.

real talk tho, enjoy the game.

Thanks for the advice.
Yes, I'm really enjoying it, and I hope all the players who like it do too and don't get carried away by the misleading reviews that don't reflect the reality of this remaster.
Seriously, does no one have a well-formed, realistic opinion to discuss and tell me why they think this remaster is so bad?
I can't believe the criticisms of some users. I'm starting to think that rival companies and other interests pay people to break certain games they don't care about or that are rivals to their products, because otherwise, I don't understand it.
This is crazy.
The only real complaint I've heard so far (being on this board for just like 20 minutes or so) is that it's buggy...

I think its amazing, but one small little gripe I have with it is that we dont have the option to keep the original leveling style in tact. But that is a small potato. I usually prefer no mandatory changes in a remaster.

I like this remaster/remake so far yeah. ( remaster cause it's basically the same game but visually it looks like a remake and not just a remaster )

But remaster of FO3 and Skyrim, god please no, let's move on and release TOS6 already.

Skyrim and has been done and done thousands of time already, we don't need yet another version of it.

Well, my friend, in the more than 20 hours I've been playing, I've only seen a couple of minor bugs that will be fixed with a patch, I haven't had any crashes of any kind, the game runs perfectly for me, stable, with no loss of performance with everything on ultra and RT at maximum.
OP -- what are your system specs? It would help people to know.
Plus the reviews are basically overwhelmingly positive, pretty much everyone seems to agree that it's a great remaster/remake, not exactly sure with who you were planning to debate.

There's just people that don't like the "Body type 1 / Body type 2" thingy, personally I don't care that much but yeah "Male type / Female type " shouldn't offend anybody with a bit of common sense.

I'll tell you that my PC is a full AMD processor with an 8-core 4 GHz processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 12 GB GPU. I bought it in mid-2018, and it was top-of-the-range, the best there was. I spent about 3,000 euros on it, and I'm still playing games without any issues to this day.
You can see my screenshots to get an idea.
I am having a grate time with this remaster, i played the original when it came out as well. I have run into a few bugs but nothing major. i is like an reuniting with an old friend that i have not seen in forever.

FO3 is already confirmed, and you're absolutely right about Skyrim, but I think they'll do another remaster.
Don't expect The Elder Scrolls VI until well into 2028 or 2029, but I don't think they'll do it solely with Creation Engine 2 like Starfield, since it hasn't been very popular.

I feel the same as you, it was a surprise and a very welcome one.

I agree, but I don't think this new level up is that bad, it's just a little different, I also like that the game is more difficult in general, it becomes more enjoyable,
just another d rider
