MODERN DAY SCAM. (Warning on Product Refunds)
This game is fundamentally broken.

It’s riddled with issues that make it unplayable for many users—not just a few. Despite meeting the system requirements, it suffers from:

Poor optimisation

Game-breaking bugs

Frequent crashes and freezes

I can’t even use the product, yet Valve denied my refund, claiming there’s no evidence of a major defect under my country’s laws. I genuinely hope the publisher takes responsibility and fixes it.

Sorry to break it to you, but this is exactly how Oblivion was on release. It stayed that way for 19 years until the remaster came out.
If you think Bethesda is going to fix it, you're gonna be unpleasantly surprised.
Game runs just fine and it is you that has a problem.
Considering the number of players and positive reviews, there is far more evidence of the game working than what you're claiming. Valve is right: there is no evidence of a major defect with the product.
First Bethesda game?

Im sorry man I have a 5080 and 9800x3d and yeah without frame gen and DLSS i get 70 FPS its rough lol. A lot of people like a guy or 2 in here will just defend cause there fans its sad cause these weirdos hold back the industry by defending things just cause they like it. Not sure if you have a super old rig but def try DLSS Swapper if you have an old gpu and use a newer version of DLSS may help alot did when i had an older card.

I've played from start to bringing Martin back to Weynon Priary and the game didn't crash even once. Sure, it's unmodded and I needed to get the game inis optimized, but other than that the worst I experienced was the occasional hiccup, which will be fixed with mods later on.
It's Bethesda .... riddled with issues is a given.
Played on gamepass, no problems (19hrs)
it's a bit laggy in the overworld and it crashed a few times, but the bugs, the crashes, they are all things I had with original oblivion, it was worse with OG oblivion in regards to crashes actually.
Why did you buy the game before doing your research? /smh

But it just works tho?

game runs fine, most people just don't understand how to set up their graphics properly and this release has made that very clear.

and game breaking bugs? you got a bricked save somehow? i find that hard to believe, most issues can be resolved by waiting 1 hour or reloading the most recent save.

99% of game breaking bugs being reported are currently npc's getting stuck which is normal for oblivion and easy to resolve.

original release was 100% more scuffed and i never had "game breaking bugs" this release is much smoother for pc

Funny, I played for over 5 hours and only had 1 crash and everything else worked fine.
