i cant wear boots and body armor at the same time?

am i missing something? i got shroud armor and a boots if i wear boots my shroud armor is taken off wtf?

Shrouded armor already takes boot slot as well. In Oblivion some armor or clothing take multiple slots. Take Mythic Dawn robe for an example, it takes body, lower body, hands and feet parts while regular Mage's Robe only take body and lower body. Regular leather armor only takes body slot, and so forth.

bug maybe. been awhile since i did the dark brotherhood quest line. i can't remember if the armor is all one piece or not.
