Locks my computer immediately on start
Win11 homebrew PC. UEFI/BIOS and NVIDIA drivers all updated to latest versions.
As soon as I click the Play button in Steam the monitor goes totally black, then goes to Save Power mode in a few seconds. The computer's fans rev but it doesn't access disk, and doesn't respond to keyboard or mouse. I have to turn the power off and on again.

I've tried various solutions (renaming the .dll files in that one folder, disabling the shader cache in NVIDIA Control Panel, running the game in Administrator mode, verifying the game files in Steam). No luck.

Is anyone else having the same problem? (It's damn hard to debug a game that locks your computer as soon as you start it.)

Mine locked up the first time I launched the game but after restarting my computer its been working just fine.

I saw a reddit post the suggested deleting a file called Win64 that has worked for some people maybe look into that
Either temps, unstable oc/undervolt, power spikes psu can't handle, broken nvidia drivers since they've been a mess since 5x series.

Can't help without knowing your hardware.

I've restarted many times - as I said, I have to turn the power off and on again to get it to respond.

Also, I got a grin out of "deleting a file called Win64" 😉

Nothing's overclocked, the temps are fine, the drivers are the latest. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's fair. The drawback of rolling your own rig.
