Glitch in main quest after battle for Kvatch

Wow… only a short way in and now I’m blocked on the main quest. After finishing the Battle for Kvatch, even though “Find the Heir” is now my active quest, the green arrow points to Salvian Marius, who simply repeats some line about Kvatch being built from ruins.

How do I now find Martin?

hey i found a "fix" Martin is just down at the Refugee camp under kvatch, it wont show you a marker but he was there for me and i could progress the quest

Can confirm, it works, pretty weird that there's no quest markers or anything at this moment but hey...

Martin is indeed at the refugee camp, he's just standing there, menacingly.

Same issue. Got past it by going into the castle and getting the ring without them. Really surprised that bug is in every single release of Oblivion. Did no one from any QA team go through the main quest for the past 20 years?

eh i think the problem might be fixed if you choose another quest as main and then return and do the quest u want as main
that fixed 2 quest markers for me already

Not me martin wandered all the way to cloud ruler temple and has broken the quest
