Maybe one day, but Fallout 3 will be the next remaster. It was leaked in the same court documents in which we learned about the Oblivion remaster.

But there is a non-zero possibility that they do a good job with Morrowind. And you will still have all the old content if not. Its really a win win scenario for anyone who likes Morrowind

The key things for me to play Morrowind remaster in the unlikely event that it comes out is:
1) the chance to hit mechanic
2) Limited fast travel
3) no waypoints

If they remove any of these features, I will unfortunately not be interested. That game is just too good to change. But I will always be able to play the original without modifications. I made sure to buy a disk and paperback guide so I never have to worry if there are any end of world events, I can still play Morrowind if I can find a way to generate power.
