Going from 1x damage taken/dealt to immediately 3x taken and 0.6 dealt is a crazy bump, Currently playing on expert and I have to constantly summon meatshields in order to survive while doing ample damage. My summons do more damage than me.

The average mudcrab becomes death incarnate if you swap from adept to expert right out of the sewers, it's hilarious.
Learn to block and kite. Its not hard, you just need to buff your gear with effects.
LOL yeah, it's been me and my meatshield for a while now. He's starting to get a bit tender in the rotty bits though as I level up. I'd have never made it through Kvatch without me zomboid.

There are so many places you cannot kite. More than one enemy is already a death sentence in most cases.
I just fought a marauders chief on expert by standing on a stone on top of him where he swung at the air without pause so i could fire arrows and spells at him.
At the end i lootet 46 arrows back and i have shot many more firespells at him. After that i got my a?? handed by another marauder and finally had enough, swapped back to Adept and killed her in like 5 hits while she barely scratched me. Wtf is this?

even if you start with the maximum bonuses to your skills, things are supposed to kick your ass and strain your resources until you get a good enchanted weapon/staff to fall back on. until then, consider spending gold on emergency poisons and scrolls so your only option for damage sponges isn't cheese. i love the serpent sign for that reason, same with races that have greater powers. around the overworld are standing stones that give you greater powers, a few of which are very strong offensively. everything levels along with you but marauders and necromancers/conjurers outclass you early on. and finally, flare is pathetic. if you want to use destruction a lot you need a stronger spell and more importantly the race/birthsign and potions to support it.
Na, dont ruin my expert save please..doing the back fade arrow shot will help

Git gud

Im playing on Master with 65 percent skill exp reduction and 2x spawn rate, and having no trouble.

You all either gotta git gut or play on adept difficulty.

Frankly, the HP increase from Adept To Expert really seems a bit much. It doesn't even make the battles harder, it just draws them out for 15 minutes, which in turn makes your armor degrade faster.
It feels like there is a difficulty missing right in between tbh

I always hated that summons and followers are not affected by difficulty. So they get overpowered if you increase difficulty.

I feel like on adept difficulty damage taken by player is way too low (losing 1-3% of health per hit is silly) but the correct amount of damage done (with some things getting broken if you abuse them).

AI isn't great either which is another issue. Some bandit can get hit by arrows near another bandit and often the 2nd bandit doesn't care. Not a huge issue but it feels like something that makes archery too strong when you just pick off 1 enemy at a time.

Enemies ability to keep up is also not great. Without leveling speed you can kite too easily.

For the most part I think just having more damage taken by player and not reducing damage done would greatly improve the game, but there are also many other issues.

Ah, the typical getguud nonsense of a teenager. The tuning for difficulty was bad then, just as it is now. Just because you couldn't be bothered to go touch grass in lieu of mashing your head against an exercise in stupidity does not make it any less egregious.

Its not the HP.

Im starting to wonder if some of you are new to elder scrolls or only have played ESO.

What Master Difficulty does is make all damage you take increase by 5x, thats 200 percent more than Skyrims legendary, and in return you deal 0.2x damage, 80 percent less damage from the "Normal" difficulty. Thats about 5 percent less damage you would do on Skyrim Legendary difficulty.

Master mode is for those who played elder scrolls games for a long, long time not counting ESO. You cant just be a stealth archer, or frail mage or meat head warrior, you gotta be all three at once, utilize potions, poisons, get enchanted equipment, learn how to block and parry, when to do it, when its ok to do a few light hits or a heavy attack, make use of your races powers if they arnt worthless, use everything you can period.

Master is meant for the Veterans, Expert is meant for the thrill seekers, while anything below that is for new players or tourists.

And then theirs masochists like me who makes our own "Inferno" difficulty, like I have using mods.

To me the problem is that Adept feels discalibrated even if it's supposed to be 1x damage taken and dealt, The damage we do is disproportionatedly high and the damage taken is pathetic, which feels like playing with cheats or easy mode. Then you bump the difficulty up just one step and the game feels spongy and unfair.

I miss the Original Oblivion medium difficulty, Adept isn't it. It feels like Remastered lacks medium or baseline difficulty.

this is why this will never get improved. Because brainwashedfans will insist it is a 'skill issue'.
This guy is a moron and good luck on getting this studio that made 40million in a day to do anything else to this game. It is trashed. It is another bethesda garbage pile

Or, you can just do expert or lower difficulty if your bad at open world games.

Or you can quit crying, and learn to use everything at your disposal.

I 1 billion percento know full well anyone crying about Master or heck even Expert difficulty, does not make use of Poisons on their weapons.
