Is anyone else finding the difficulty settings a bit odd. I'm finding adept far too easy but expert a little too hard. Seems like a massive jump between the two.

I am playing on adept and 13 hours in (playing classic heavy armor melee warrior). I had an easy run until now, but now ("spies" main quest) I am getting wrecked, not sure why.
I deal very low damage while enemies kill me in 4/5 hits. I had nightmares when I found 3 trolls in a cave.

There's a mod out that helps smooth out the difficulty settings.

They changed it from just a slider?

I think the difficulties are all way too easy

Same here, I picked expert since I knew from the original that it quickly gets "too easy". Expert here though, feels on an entirely different level.

Everything gets so beefy that killing just takes forever.
Its a really strange increase between:
Kill something in 2 hits or kill it in 20

Kinda feels like there should have been a difficulty in between.

Edit: its especially obvious with Mythic dawn agents for some reason.

Its obvious with just about everything. I found some castle ruins with marauders who would absolutely wreck me. I managed to cheese two, one trough his own traps and the chief, well, i just camped on a place on top of him where he melee attacked the air and i hit him with about 70 arrows and 40 firespells. Then i met a marauder with a two handed weapon who just ate a trap to the face and survived with 60% and then clap my cheeks. At this point it was to ridiculous and i set it to Adept.
Magic behold, they were suddenly no challenge anymore.

What the hell are the difficulty stats? Do they get like 500% health and 200% damage or what is happening? And i just played on expert.
Then wtf is master be like?

Playing on Master and it feels like a waste of your time. You pretty much have to find ways to cheese battles and barely do a dent on enemies in serious group battles. You just pull aggro and let the NPC's handle the mobs. It's so dumb that enemies just get a huge buff in HP and Damange.
it really does need an additional dificulty setting vetween adept and expert... im finding destruction magic to be incredibly weak.. far weaker than mele combat

Just use "weakness to x" spells or make poisons, they wreck everything
