Bow use bug?

Anyone else having trouble using bows? I've seen videos of people using them, so I know it's not a common issue, but I can't shoot with bows. Hitting the button, or even holding, literally does nothing.

Same. Could use it in the beginning then snagged a steel bow at level 1 from Waynon Priory chest and cannot use that or now my iron bow. This is terrible for my build.

Do you have arrows equipped? If they run out no new or other arrows get autoequipped.

You need to make sure your character has arrows equipped. Why my character doesn't automatically equip them when they're wielding a bow is beyond me, but I found that to be my primary problem when bows wouldn't work.

Have had a beautiful one where I'd fire an arrow without a bow and the shot arrow just hangs in the air until pausing and unpausing wherein it just falls limply to the ground. Fixed by re-equipping the bow.
