Dungeon map, where?
Why being in the dungeon pressing the map button shows up global one by default?
Who decides that constantly clicking tiny circle/zooming all the way down to switch to local map is a good thing?

You have to zoom in on the big map. Just keep zooming. I also had problems at first finding it

Its better to click on the small circle under the + button, instead of zooming around.

But its annoying as hell to do it all the time again and again :(

Was it the same in the original game?

scroll the zoom in..
Yeah, it would be better if it defaulted to local map when indoors/in caves. The zoom is gonna take some getting used to

Pretty sure IIRC in the original the local map was the default for like dungeons and such.

Now there's this extra step of zooming in or clicking somewhere

Yeah there was a different menu option for World Map and Local Map, honestly if you didn't know local map was a thing you'd probably never find it, who scrolls into the map entirely

it's a stupid design, who would guess that zooming in a world map will CHANGE the map after a certain zoom level... If I'm underground, I don't expect the "world map" to go underground while zooming...
My only big gripe with this version. I really don't care about Cyrodil's map while in a cave.

This is one of the worst design decisions ever. How this wasn’t caught early in the process is beyond me.

I haven't tested this mod just yet, but this may be the solution for now?:

Press TAB once zoomed in on the map to maintain the local map.
How did the people that made this not notice that?

Was it too hard to fix?

Seems incredibly dumb to miss this, like people wouldn't want that feature, lol.
