TES4 Oblivion Remastered Engine.ini, optimizations and enhancements.
This is primarily for people who cannot tolerate blur and those who want higher frame rates. These tweaks will not interfere with or alter your in-game settings. I don't know whether changes to Engine.ini will disable achievements. Before you modify the engine.ini, you could test out these lines in in-game console (press "~") to see the difference they make (do not include "=" when using in-game console, e.g. type r.Tonemapper.Sharpen 0.5, no =), again, I don't know how it will affect achievements.

Run the game at least once. Open C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini
Copy paste the following into it, save, make it READ ONLY.

[SystemSettings]
r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.Allow=0
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=0.5
r.TemporalAA.HistoryScreenPercentage=200
r.TSR.History.ScreenPercentage=200
r.Nanite.Culling.DrawDistance=0

Some clarifications, feel free to exclude or modify lines that you don't need:
r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.Allow=0, disable lumen indirect lighting, this could free ~20 fps in open world even on a 7900XTX at 1080p, and it doesn't alter graphics significantly.

r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=0.5, set sharpness for the overall image. Higher value gives sharper image. At 1080p, use values between 1.0 and 1.5 for TAA and 0.5 for TSR. You can test out different values in the in-game console to find the most suitable values for your resolution and anti-aliasing method.

r.TemporalAA.HistoryScreenPercentage=200 and r.TSR.History.ScreenPercentage=200, these two greatly eliminates blur during player movement if TAA or TSR were selected as the AA method, at the cost of ~1 fps.

r.Nanite.Culling.DrawDistance=0, greatly increase foliage draw distance (grass, shrubs, various plants on ruins). Will cost ~10 FPS.

Attached is a list of all command variables (except cheats), the settings were maxed out, with vsync disabled, RT disabled, motionblur disabled, upscaling disabled, TSR AA. Feel free to research it for your own special needs.

The only downside to this is you'll end up with a shimmering effect on certain stuff yeah?

No, shimmering only appears when you turn off AA completely. It actually reduces "shimmering" if you turn off indirect lighting.

I don't know. My guess is it should be at ...SAVED\Config\Windows\Engine.ini, so wherever the save location is.
Mild necro to record a data point for others, but running on a 2070 Super and i7-9700K, this config greatly increases stability on default medium settings IF you remove `Nanite.Culling.DrawDistance=0`. Draw distance is apparently a huge performance hit on (now :( ) mid-range systems, but otherwise stuttering is nearly eliminated inside and load transitions for initial world render are also reduced.
